THE MAGIC OF THE VILLAGE
ON YOUR DOORSTEP
Storms River Tin House at 56 Darnell Street is located in the heart of Storms River Village, just a short stroll to the CBD area where you’ll find a small grocery store, restaurants, booking and information centres, and a huge variety of adventure activities.
Storms River Village is the adventure capital of Tsitsikamma – whether you are in need of a laid-back get-away during which time-out for lazy strolls through natural forest trails is all that’s needed to refuel, or whether you need to release adrenaline with adventure-filled activities – you will create memories to remember forever. The Village, which forms part of South Africa’s famous Garden Route, is situated 60km east of Plettenberg Bay and 170km west of Port Elizabeth.
Tsitsikamma
Tsitsikamma is a Khoi word meaning “place of abundant or sparkling water”. The area is covered in large tracts of indigenous forest, commercial plantation, and fynbos. Deep river gorges cleft the plateau as they make their way down to the sea at Storms River Mouth.
